Cumberland Bandits Remain Undefeated – Winning 5-2 vs. the Gatineau Express.

October 8th was the home opener for the Bandits. Fans will agree that this hockey game was a real nail bitter. Both teams had excellent scoring opportunities. Once again, goaltender, Romeo Boudreau, made some great saves. With 7:02 minutes left in the third period, the game was tied 2-2. Simon Forgues scored the game winning goal. The Bandits added two more goals to earn their third win of the season. “We played three good periods tonight. It’s great to see that 4 of 5 goals came from our rookie players” said head coach, Bob Paquette.

The Bandits next game is Saturday night, October 15th at 7:30pm – Ray Friel Pad #1. The North Dundas Rockets will be the visiting team.
