Bandits Come Crashing Down in Clarence
After a very satisfying win Saturday night against the Vikings the Bandits went into Clarence and laid an egg. The Bandits were soundly defeated by the Castors 9-4. “We are not offering excuses even though we had a very short bench. The Castors gave us a beating. We must now put this behind us and move on to the next game” Said Head Coach Dale Murdoch.
The Castor led from start to finish. The Bandits were undisciplined and their commitment level to this game was lacking. “I’m disappointed in our effort but it is one game and we must put it behind us and not dwell on it. We will have a good practice on Wednesday where our coaches will put us back on the right track” said Bandits captain Marty Forget.
“Our coaches do not deserve these types of performances from our players for all the time they put into this. That is the game of hockey however, there are ups and downs throughout the season and as a team we have to stick together no matter what. Our coaches have our complete confidence and we will look forward to the next game” added Paul Forgues President of the Bandits.
The Bandits play Morrisburgh on Saturday at Ray Friel 7:30pm start time and then will travel to South Grenville on Sunday for their first game in the Leo Boivin community centre against the Rangers.
