Bandits Lose Close One in South Grenville

The Bandits were on the losing end of another close and good game between them and the Rangers on Sunday afternoon at the Leo Boivin Centre.

The Bandits played a good game but could not seem to capitalise on some of their opportunities.  Billy Denham continued his hot streak adding to goals to his 5 points on Saturday night but in the end it wasn’t enough as the Rangers got two goals in the third to win it 5-4.

“We have a few things to address as coaches this week and we hope to come out strong next weekend” said Head Coach Dale Murdoch.  “We need to find a way to stay consistent which we have not done this season” added Assistant coach Alex Brar.

The Bandits next game is against the Blackburn Inferno.  Both Franchises are looking forward to their first official meeting that will see former Bandits Head Coach Pierre Thibaudeau and now Owner of the Inferno face off against his former team.  “I look forward to seeing the players and hope that we have a good game” said Thibaudeau.  “The Bandits are proud to have helped the Inferno come to life in the NCJHL and we look forward to a fierce competition on the Ice while we continue our great work together in the Community of Ottawa-Orléans” added Bandits Owner Rick Bédard.

Please join us on Saturday Nov, 18th at 7:30 pm Ray Friel 1 for what should be a great game.
